Attack Phase Day 1

Day 1
9:30 AM
Weight: 54.3 kg
Fat Percentage: 30.8
(these numbers are gross...)


1st day of Dukan Diet!!!
I went on the Dukan Diet website to calculate my true weight and below is what I got












it says my true weight is 49.89 kg... but my goal is actually 45 kg. If not 45, I'd still like to stay within 47.. so I'm thinking instead of only 3 days of the attack phase I'll make it 4 or 5 days.


Breakfast:
1 cup of low-fat milk + C-Lium fibre
1 oatbran galette
a few spoon fulls of fat free greek yogurt
*I'm not sure if C-lium fibre is allowed on Dukan diet.. but its pretty much just fibre... so I don't think there would be much harm. I'm switching to skim milk tomorrow though.


Lunch:
bought food from a lunch box store close by
Pan-fried chicken thigh
1 fried egg
2/3 piece of adobo tofu
since these lunch box stores' foods tend to be quite oily
I used a paper towel to soak up the oil on the surface of the chicken thigh and egg.
I also peeled off the skin of the chicken thigh


















Snack:
2 tea eggs from 7-11 (no yolks)
1 coke zero
1 tall skim latte from Starbucks


Dinner:
7-11 關東煮(Guan-dong-zhu)
basically they're probably one of the only low-carb foods in 7-11
they have tofu, meat / shrimp / crab meat balls all in hot soup
I had a small piece of tofu, and 3 different kind of balls (one was chicken.. the other two I don't remember)
I actually think this dinner wasn't such a great idea because they are all processed food and probably high in sodium and probably not entirely carb free.. but I didn't have anything else to eat T_T and they are fairly low in calories.


Work out:
1 hour Body Combat class (sweat a lot. yay!)


Other intake:
1 diet snapple
10 pieces of sugar free gum


First day has been quite hard... because of the very limited choice of food..
I don't really cook and I don't like to stay home all day because all I'd do is sit on my couch, watch TV and surf the internet and eventually fall asleep with the TV on and before I know it I've wasted the whole day doing absolutely NOTHING. The problem is if you eat out its really hard to find anything thats just pure protein. I usually go to coffee shops and the only carb-free foods they offer are salads and I can't even have a salad :(
I also realized I can't have nuts... BOOOOO I miss having a snacking on a small bag of nuts.
but I made it! not perfect coz of the processed foods but better than nothing! I was this close to giving up because I started having insane cravings for this kind of bread that 7-11 sells. I miss fruits! before when I went on a diet I'd have fruits for dinner and sometimes fruits for snacks and you can get them at 7-11.. so convenient! but now I can't.. I can't even have the yogurt from 7-11 because they all have too much fat or sugar.
anyways a pat on my back for making it through the first day :)
